A little about us...
Our farm is located in Dunbarton, New Hampshire. My daughter Alison and I have been raising Oberhasli dairy goats for the past 12 years.
We show our goats at 4-H and ADGA shows at various fairs in New Hampshire and New England.
What started out as a simple 4-H project for my son and daughter has turned into a passion of mine. Like other breeders of dairy goats we picked the particular breed we raise based on personal preference. I really like the "look" of the Oberhasli breed. We quickly learned however, that the quality of Oberhasli stock in northern New England was far below that of the more established breeds such as Alpines, Lamanchas and Nubians. I am now devoted to improving the competitive level of the Oberhasli breed in our area and have an aggressive breeding program using both proven bloodlines and experimental breedings including artificial insemination.
I am a member of ADGA (American Dairy Goat Association), NHDGA (New Hampshire Dairy Goat Association) and NHDGHIA (New Hampshire Dairy Goat Herd Improvement Association). My herd is linear appraised by ADGA and is on milk test.
